Lighting is one of the largest energy consumers in a hospital, yet it also provides some of the most significant opportunities for cutting energy use. Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) offer more light with less energy, little heat production, excellent controllability, and a fraction of traditional lighting maintenance needs.
