Since 1993, the American Society for Health Care Engineering of the American Hospital Association has recognized design and construction initiatives across the United States through the Vista Awards program.

The Vista Awards celebrate teams that work together to develop and maintain exceptional health care environments while demonstrating effective communication practices and relying on data-driven decision-making processes. The Vista Awards are granted based on team collaboration and focus on the project’s key stakeholders — individuals who have been involved from inception to completion as well as during any post-occupancy evaluations.

Eligible applicants include design and construction firms that develop hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, long-term care facilities and medical buildings
