Health Facilities Management to Join ASHE
CHICAGO –Health Facilities Management magazine is becoming part of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), a personal membership group of the American Hospital Association.
ASHE will be combining HFM magazine and digital newsletters with its existing communications, with the first editions of ASHE’s Health Facilities Management coming out in January 2018. The change will create a robust publication covering the latest trends, best practices, research, and news for the field.
In addition to the print and digital editions of Health Facilities Management magazine, ASHE’s HFM media will include three electronic newsletters featuring information and resources related to facility management; planning, design, and construction; and environmental services. ASHE will be collaborating with the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) to create the Environmental Services newsletter and environmental services information for the magazine.
“This transition will allow us to streamline our current communications while continuing to offer timely, relevant and robust content,” said ASHE Executive Director PJ Andrus, MBA, CAE. “Additionally, this new platform increases our ability to highlight new tools, resources and benefits for ASHE members, as well as expand the number of continuing education units members can earn just by reading the magazine.”
Advertisers interested in the new publications can download the 2018 media kit with more information on promotional opportunities.
ASHE is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association. More than 12,500 members rely on ASHE as a key source of professional development, industry information, and advocacy, including representation on key issues that affect their work in the physical health care environment.
