Description

Strategic asset management is vital for optimizing building performance and resiliency. During operational handover, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) population and usage plays a crucial role that can often be overlooked. Proactive and timely CMMS population ensures smooth transition by centralizing maintenance data and automating workflows, facilitating efficient maintenance scheduling, cost-effective asset management, and improved resiliency and compliance in facility operations. Please join this panel discussion and professional debate to learn best practices for operational handover.

Learning objectives:

  1. Understand and define Strategic Asset Management (SAM) and review the concept of full life cycle asset management.
  2. Demonstrate an asset management framework that defines the relationship between PDC and FM teams, using asset inventory data as a primary communication vehicle.
  3. Provide a case study example of best practices and results from an informed operational handover, identifying critical success criteria for ongoing facility life cycle management.
  4. Provide a defined asset-driven framework for facility business planning, risk mitigation and improved resiliency and compliance in facility operations. From Day One.
