Through a combination of lectures, MECH-formatted practice test questions and study materials, the MECH Certification Exam Review will help health care technicians gain confidence in their knowledge of each of the nine (9) core competency areas of the MECH as they consider obtaining the MECH Certification.

*ASHE’s revised Mechanic Evaluation and Certification for Health Care (MECH) exam is officially available. This updated version reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that MECH certification aligns with the most current knowledge, competencies, and best practices in the field. The previous exam version was retired on January 25, 2026. All candidates testing from this point forward will take the updated MECH exam.
