Tuesday, July 16, 2019 Speakers: Dennis Ford, Mike Mango and Tyler Greenwood The Joint Commission is focusing on the certification process for pharmacy sterile compounding clean rooms in 2018-2019 surveys. The Central Division of Atrium Health was surveyed in 2018 and conducted a multidisciplinary review of requirements, roles, and responsibilities around clean rooms. This session presents a resulting road map to developing a program for continual certification.

The session will also discuss in detail the advantages, disadvantages, and appropriateness of the different types of locking arrangements as well as the most common design/installation mistakes associated with each type of arrangement.
