The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and accrediting organizations (AOs) require compliance with the 2012 editions of NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code and NFPA 101®, Life Safety Code®, therefore this monograph references those editions of the codes."
