ASHE Introduces the Innovation Challenge
CHICAGO (March 5, 2009) The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) announces the ASHE Innovation Challenge, a new initiative to recognize health care based ASHE members for their original ideas and concepts that have demonstrated positive results on the health care physical environment in terms of patient and staff safety, financial efficiencies, and quality, energy and sustainability. The information collected will be shared with the ASHE membership via the ASHE Web site and in Inside ASHE, ASHE’s bi-monthly magazine
All submissions must be received by June 1, 2009 and will be reviewed by the ASHE leadership. The ASHE member who submits the most original and unique submission will receive complimentary registration and a travel stipend to attend the 46th ASHE Annual Conference August 2-5 in Anaheim.
