Each year in the U.S, it is estimated that 1.7 million patients acquire an infection while staying in a hospital; 99,000 of those patients die from it. ASHE’s Infection Control (IC) program is a two-day seminar that offers critical information and infection prevention methods during construction, operation and maintenance of healthcare facilities.
