CHFM Exam
There will be a CHFM Paper and Pencil Examination on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Verizon Wireless Center after the Region 6 Educational Conference.
Registration for the CHFM will be SEPARATE from Region 6 Conference registration.
CHFM Exam & Waiver Opportunity
Region 6 has been issued 30 waivers for the CHFM exam by ASHE. Six waivers will be granted to each state.
Exam Qualifications: Review the CHFM Candidate Handbook for eligibility requirements for application by Applied Measurements Professionals (AMP) – the administrator of the CHFM exam.
ASHE members and full 2010 ASHE Region 6 Education Conference registrants that meet the AMP eligibility requirements can then apply for a waiver of the $275 exam fee. Waiver applicants need to provide their Region 6 Conference Committee State Representatives the following:
Completed exam application, including ASHE member identification number, and a copy of your completed 2010 Region 6 Conference registration form.

Applications are due to your State Representative by February 10th. Waivers will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your State Representative will forward all applications to ASHE. ASHE will ensure all applications are forwarded to AMP, the organization who administers the CHFM exam.
Once AMP receives and approves your application, AMP will contact you directly with instructions and your confirmation letter to take the exam.

How to Apply:
The CHFM Candidate Handbook contains eligibility requirements for participation in the program, a complete content outline for the examination, sample test items, a list of review references that may aid in preparing for the examination, regulations governing conduct of the examination, and application for the examination. The Candidate Handbook may be downloaded from the web site, or calling AMP at (913) 895-4600.
The deadline to send applications to AMP is Friday, March 26, 2010. AMP will not accept applications for the paper-and-pencil test after that date.
