It is time to vote for your ASHE Region Eight Representative. This year, I am asking for your vote.
* I understand.
I am one of you. I joined the healthcare industry in 1989 after many years of working in the construction industry in Middle Eastern countries. Throughout my time in healthcare, I have faced many challenges including maintaining and upgrading failing building infrastructures and undertaking numerous major building projects.
I am very active with local healthcare chapters and ASHE. I have served as President for Kansas State Chapter, Kansas City Area Healthcare Engineers Chapter, Virginia Hampton Chapter and now serving as President for Nebraska Healthcare Engineers Chapter. I have served in many ASHE committees and task forces. I am currently serving on the ASHE Annual Planning and Rewards and Recognition committees. I am a member of the ASHE Healthcare Executive Leadership Council.
* I believe in Synergy.
My goal has been to build a strong and friendly information sharing platform for healthcare teams. Currently, we have more than 1,000 members in our region. Together, we have a wealth of knowledge in all areas of facility management and construction. We all can benefit from each other's experiences by sharing through networking.
I believe in you. We all have different talents and capabilities that can be utilized to achieve our goals. We are an integral part of our healthcare system and by improving our personal development, we can improve our system. We need to elevate ourselves, so that we can walk with healthcare leaders and help resolve the issues that we face today.
* I will support you.
I will address all of the issues important to you and stand with you. Wherever you are and however busy I am, I will find time to address your issues and support you even if I have to visit your facility. I am still learning, so I may not have all of the answers for you, but together we will find a solution.
Thank you for your support.
