Energy Efficiency Program Funding Available in Illinois
If your facility has a combined annual energy costs of at least $500,000 in utility costs, and you are in need of funding to implement cost-effective, natural gas and other thermal energy efficiencies at your Illinois based facility, you could be eligible for funding through the Energy Efficiency Portfolio (EEP) program offered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Eligible activities include energy efficiency projects that produce operational savings through energy efficiency improvements in buildings, equipment, or process, including combined heat and power projects (CHP).
This program is being implemented by the DCEO as a component of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Funding Opportunity Number: DE-FOA-0000052, CFDA Number: 81.041, State Energy Program (SEP).
