Tim has more than 26 years of experience in facility engineering within the medical, higher education, institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Tim is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and his experience includes energy consulting, design consulting, commissioning, sustainability, energy procurement, facilities maintenance, HVAC construction, performance contracting, and project management. He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Commissioning Authority, Certified Healthcare Constructor, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, a LEED® AP, and a Senior Member of ASHE (SASHE).
Tim began his career in the engineering department of a large healthcare facility, resulting in a passion for owner advocacy and energy efficiency that has lasted throughout his career. Tim has served on the board of multiple commissioning organizations, served on the board of the Arkansas Association for Healthcare Engineers, chaired the ASHE Energy Management Task Force, assisted with the ASHE Sustainability task force, is a contributing author to the ASHE Healthcare Facility Commissioning Handbook, serves as faculty for multiple ASHE educational programs, is a former member of the Health Care Institute Board of Directors, and has provided expert witness testimony in several utility rate cases.
