| Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Completely sustainable, the 8500 square-foot, 31-bassinet NICU is designed on a universal position model for maximum flexibility and incorporates an acquatic and celestial theme. The nurse station is defined by a soffit reminiscent of the underside of a boat. Wave-shaped partitions divide the nurse stations in each room. |

| Pediatric Inpatient Unit Located in the sixth floor of the new pavilion, the Pediatric Inpatient Unit expands the capacity of the Infant & Children’s Hospital by 12,000 square feet. The space projects an aquatic theme, complete with three aquariums and sea-related icons. Natural materials such as cherry and maple wood, and linoleum help enhance the healing environment. |
