Swedish Health Services plans to create a next-generation community healthcare campus comprised of robust ambulatory services, cancer care, medical offices and retail amenities, in addition to 175 inpatient beds. The project vision emphasizes wellness and innovation through technological advancements and integrated programs.
Situated in the lssaquah Highlands, the site features spectacular views of sunounding foothills, forest and lakes, The 500,000-square-foot program is organized around a modular planning grid, with the buildings sited to take advatage of daylight and views. The 12-acre site will be utilized to its full capacity and provide clear paths for future expansion. The buildings are proportioned to allow porosity and integrated landscape, helping to blur the boundary between exterior and interior spaces. The tower blocks are placed in a north-south orientation, enabling sunlight to activate entire site. Major circulation spines run east.west, connecting all services while maintaining clear separation between public and service flows.
