Stanford University Medical Center – Multiple Projects
WRNS Studio is currently involved with a number of projects for Stanford Hospital & Clinics, including the Conceptual Facilities Renewal and Replacement Program, Campus Design Guidelines, and two Medical Office Buildings totaling approximately 200,000 sf and a 1,200-space parking structure.
The Facilities Renewal and Replacement Program contemplate 1.1 million square feet of new hospital space intended to replace most of the primary functions of the existing hospital. The conceptual work is based on Detailed Programming undertaken by Kurt Salmon Associates. It will support entitlement efforts under way with the city of Palo Alto, ultimately providing guidance to specific design of future facilities.
WRNS Studio is developing Campus Design Guidelines for all projects currently underway at the Stanford University Medical Center. This includes the Hospital Replacement Project, the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Project, the Foundation for Investigative Medicine Projects, and the Hoover Pavilion Clinics Project.
