Cleveland Clinic Canada – Toronto Health and Wellness Centre
The intent of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation was to develop a clinic facility in Toronto offering Canadian residents convenient access to high quality comprehensive integrated healthcare services. The new 24,000 sq ft Cleveland Clinic Canada’s Toronto Health and Wellness Centre occupies the entire 30th floor of a 47-story office tower. With an objective of providing a complete solution to overall health and personal well-being, the Centre offers two separate, but complementary missions: Executive Health is a comprehensive medical assessment and preventative lifestyle program and Health Solution, is a specialty care program. The "5-star" hospitality environment of Executive Health includes a fully staffed juice bar, exercise equipment, locker rooms and incredible views of Lake Ontario and Toronto’s port. Cleveland Clinic’s Health Solutions includes four procedure rooms and eight prep/recovery bays to support a wide range of services from cancer prevention to cardiology, within an ambulatory care setting.
Grant Medical Center Surgical and Heart Center
As a part of a major revitalization to their downtown Columbus campus, Grant Medical Center’s new Surgical and Heart Center completes the hospital’s vision, and enhances their mission to become the area’s provider of choice. The new 150,000 sp ft, fivelevel addition is architecturally defined by a two-story lobby space that serves as Grant’s new front door to the community. Patient access is facilitated by drop off/queuing lanes, temporary parking for valet service, and direct vehicular access to the parking garage. To maximize utilization of Grant’s urban site, the project is designed for future vertical expansion of four to five additional occupied levels. The scope of the project includes a Heart Center with five procedure rooms (cath labs, EP Room, shell space) and an MRI Imaging Suite with two MRI Scan rooms. In addition, the Surgery Pavilion includes 19 state-of-the-art surgical suites.
