ASHE Announces New President-Elect
New board members also named

CHICAGO—October 9, 2007—The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) today announced the results of the 2007 election.  ASHE has elected six new members to its Board for terms beginning on January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2009. An additional Board member was elected to serve a one-year term that begins January 1, 2008 and ends December 31, 2009.  The President-Elect will serve in this position during 2008 and assume the presidency in 2009.  The ASHE Board of Directors have the responsibility to determine its mission, goals and objectives and to develop the strategic and financial plans to achieve them.
