E2C Awards Recipients

2007

CHICAGO –October 23, 2007 - In July 2006, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association introduced its Energy Efficiency Commitment (E2C) to help support the goals of EPA's ENERGY STAR Challenge.  This program encourages building owners across the country to reduce their energy consumption by 10 percent or more.  As part of this program, ASHE recognized the following facilities for reducing energy consumption by at least 10 percent over a 12-month period.  

  • Children's Hospital Central California in Madera, Calf.
  • Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, N.Y.
  • Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Conn.
  • The Helmsley Medical Tower in New York, N.Y.
  • Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
  • Mercy Hospital Valley City in Valley City, N.D.
  • New York - Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, N.Y.
  • New York - Presbyterian Westchester Division in White Plains, N.Y.
  • Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston, Texas
  • Shriners Hospital for Children – Intermountain in Salt Lake City, Utah
  • St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo.
  • St. John's Hospital in Washington. Mo.
