Free PE-validation Services to Hospitals that Join E2C -- New!
TME, Inc., a full service engineering firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is offering to perform free verifications of hospitals that have qualified for the ENERGY STAR label. EPA, which requires that a PE visit the site and validate the application, estimates the service is valued at $1,500 - $3,000, depending upon the size of the facility. The hospital will need to cover travel related expenses only. Click here to find out if your facility is eligible to earn the ENERGY STAR. In return, TME is asking the facility join ASHE's Energy Efficiency Commitment (E2C), a free program that brings hospitals together to share energy best practices with the goal of saving at least 10% energy. Energy costs are out of control. 91% of hospitals surveyed by HFM reported higher energy costs over the previous year, and more than half cited increases in the double-digit percentages.
So tell me something I don't already know. Well how about…St. Francis Hospital and Health Services in Marysville, Missouri CUT their gas bill by 50% and electricity bill by 17%[1]. Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston, Texas produced a SAVINGS of 24% in a single year[2]. It can provide you the expert knowledge of where to dig to uncover the energy savings inherent in your building design and operations - savings of 10% or more.
