The 2008 PDC Conference Exhibition was a major success! This year’s Conference was our largest ever and attracted more than 3,500 professionals involved with the Planning, Design and Construction of healthcare facilities both here and abroad.
The 2008 PDC featured nationally recognized speakers including Dr. David Suzuki, Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, Award-Winning Scientist, Environmentalist, and Broadcaster; Andrew Winston, Corporate Environmental Strategy Expert and Co-Author of Green to Goldl; James Bentley, PhD, and Senior Vice President for Strategic Policy Planning, American Hospital Association, Washington DC and George Mills, FASHE, CEM, CHFM from The Joint Commission.
In addition, attendees were able to create their own curriculum by choosing from the more than 50 concurrent sessions. Special recognition was given to the 2008 recipients of the VISTA Award that recognizes design build teams for teamwork in the areas of New Construction, Renovation and Infrastructure.
