Survey: Joint Commission Life Safety Specialist Experience
The Joint Commission (TJC) Life Safety Specialists (LSS) program has been in existence for over three years with many of our members having had a survey by this specialist. TJC has expanded the program for 2008 and beyond by requiring all hospitals, including critical access hospitals to have a one day survey. They have also added a second day for organizations with over 750,000 square feet of total patient care buildings.
With the LSS program having reached maturity (3 year history), ASHE is interested in hearing about the experiences our members have had with this specialist. If you have had a survey which included a LSS and are willing to participate, there is a short, five question, online questionnaire which should only take a few minutes to complete.
