Welcome to the Annual Conference
Dear Colleague
Today we are facing challenging times. The normal of yesterday no longer exists and we are continually looking for ways to do more with less. We have to find ways to work smarter and to succeed we need to turn to each other for answers and support. As ASHE members and health care facilities management professionals, we share a common bond and are dedicated to optimizing the health care physical environment that unites us as the “family of ASHE.”
Each year we have the opportunity to come together, to meet and learn; to network and share; and this year is no exception. Today, more than ever, you need to join us in Anaheim, August 2-5, for the 46th ASHE Annual Conference & Technical Exhibition. With all the challenges we will face over the coming year, we need to take time for our professional development. This year’s program provides you with important insights on upcoming changes in codes and standards as well as information on ways to increase productivity by adopting a number of lean principles. Hear our expert faculty address topics in emergency management and facility management. You will come away from this conference with a renewed sense of confidence as you gain knowledge that will help you prepare for the upcoming changes and address your responsibilities in today’s challenging environment.
Recognizing the importance of providing you with the information you need in a cost-effective manner, we are committed to discovering ways to reduce costs associated with your attendance at the Annual Conference. Because we know many of you have limited resources; ASHE has taken steps to reduce the conference registration fee. Furthermore, we have secured extremely reasonable hotel rates and airfare discounts. We have also developed a letter highlighting the value of the conference that will assist you when requesting approval to attend this conference (you can find this by clicking here).
I hope you will be able to join us in Anaheim. The Annual Conference Planning Task Force worked hard to develop a program that addresses your needs and interests, and I know you will leave with new ideas to help you provide a safe and functional health care environment for all those who walk through the doors of your facility.
Sincerely,
Troy Martin SASHE
