Apply for the chance to take the CHFM Exam at no cost if you meet these qualifications:

  • You are currently an ASHE member in good standing and have maintained your membership for a least five (5) consecutive years.
  • Are attending the ASHE Annual Conference & Technical Exhibition in July.
  • Meet the CHFM examination requirements as listed in the CHFM Handbook Adobe PDF.

Please note, we are only offering a limited amount of free CHFM Exams and they will be given out on a first-come-first serve basis. In addition, we have a limited amount of space for those taking the exam and will also be taking registrations on a first come, first serve basis.

CHFM Testing Details:

  • Cost: For those who do not qualify for the CHFM Exam Fee Waiver, there is a $275.00 testing fee.
  • Date: Wednesday July 23rd, 2008
  • Time: 2:00-5:00pm
  • Location:  Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on the Potomac, National Harbor, MD - Room TBD
  • Deadline: All applications must be received by June 20, 2008

Return the completed application by noon Central Time on June 20, 2008 via fax to Jo Ann Ofenloch at 312.422.4571. ASHE staff will contact you regarding receipt of your request and inform you if you have qualified to have the testing fee waived.

  • Waivers are subject to approval by ASHE and are good only for the Paper and Pencil exam offered on July 23, 2008.
  • You did not apply for the fee waiver at the 2007 Annual Conference
  • Examination waivers are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The CHFM Paper and Pencil Examination Waiver offer expires at noon Central Time on June 20, 2008 or earlier if all waivers are distributed.
