Personal Letter

ASHE Region 3 Members:

The term I am currently serving as your ASHE Region 3 Representative has been both rewarding and exciting. It has been rewarding in that I have been given the opportunity to work with dedicated and talented individuals throughout Region 3 and across the United States who are focused on a safe and functional environment for our patients and our many other customers. It has been exciting to be a part of ASHE, which is well respected as a significant leader in healthcare, and whose staff and members are always on the leading edge of positive results in an ever changing environment.

It is for these reasons that I have chosen to run for a second two year term and have accepted the nomination from the Region 3 Nominations Committee. It is my fervent hope that you will give me the opportunity to continue to work with the Board of Directors and the State Chapters to further the many significant efforts that are under way. Each of us in our own way has chosen to serve our fellow man; through our State Chapters and ASHE we have combined these efforts into a powerful force for improvement in design, construction, the management of our facilities, and the improvement of the codes and standards that govern our activities. It is my belief that the knowledge I have gained during this term will serve Region 3 well as we move forward. Each of us understands the value of continuity, and I hope that you will allow me to continue to serve you as we complete current undertakings and begin new ones.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you.

Sincerely,

Philip C. Stephens, MHA, CHFM, SASHE
